Sold: Thinkpad W700 $300

Hello! Since I've moved up to a W700ds, my W700 is up for grabs. It's currently scarcely equipped, with no digitizer, screen calibrator, webcam, T9600 Core 2 Duo and 3GB of RAM. However, it does have the 1920x1200 WUXGA MaxBright display, and a Fingerprint reader. I have never taken the display apart, so all the screw covers for that are in great condition as is the display itself, with no light spots, blemishes, or scratches. Both Thinklights work, and the rest of the computer is in pretty nice condition, the lid has quite some noticeable scuffing... but that's a trait of the rubberized coating.

I must point out that the machine is missing a couple of screws(none too integral to the design i.e, the hinges are firmly secured, the laptop can be safely carried), and the speaker plastic panel is broken in two places: a hole in the plastic towards the far right, above the DVD-drive, where it seems a screw was pushed too far. The second is a piece where one screw in the back is supposed to secure itself-it was seemingly yanked and it's no longer there. I have another speaker panel piece that I bought to replace this, and I can offer that as well in the sale for a bit extra.

Battery is recently replaced and holds a full charge.

If purchased, it will come with the laptop and the power brick, $300. No Hard Drives will be shipped, if you don't have one to use, you can buy one from me separately or incorporate it in the negotiation. Same with the plastic speaker piece-that I can also offer for an extra price.

UPDATE: Link to more pictures, including pics of the broken spots in the plastic. Sorry-the one of the far back screw holder torn off the plastic is barely visible, but it's completely shrouded by the screen.

USPS allows to ship it to Switzerland, as long as the battery is mounted in the laptop itself.
