Hello! I've stumbled on these awesome old Targus carrying cases for the older Thinkpads-I wasn't sure what Thinkpads they were meant to carry, but they're not made anymore, and this is the only solid page of info I could find:

The TP4163 does match a number label inside the case. I actually have two of these cases, although one is missing a shoulder strap. I will take a reduced price for that one. Both cases are in immaculate condition, by appearance rarely or never used. They have the plastic handles that can plug into each other over the laptop compartment for carrying, and not two cumbersome nylon handles stitched onto the case. There is a laptop compartment, with the air cushioning inside, and it fits most 15" laptops very snugly.

I can provide details about the case, but I'll be sure to take pictures at some point if there's interest. It has a laptop compartment, a second large compartment with a split and numerous pockets including a mesh pocket with a zipper, and a third compartment more like a pocket but along the width of the case, split with fabric and has two pockets(one mesh) and two little bungee holsters for pens. On the backside of the case, there is also a large thin pocket for papers.

17" laptops will fit, but the air padding may need to be removed. A W700 barely fits, requiring substantial effort to zip the case closed. A W700ds does NOT fit. A 760, 770, T2x, T3x, T4x, and T6x, as well as pretty much most newer T-series including the W5x0, will fit very snugly with the air cushioning. 770 in particular seems made for it.

I've used this case for the past two years(a separate third one not for sale), and I absolutely love it. I've carried 17" laptops, including my D900F in it, and it's never failed or torn anywhere. Some of the fabric pockets have started tearing at their seams, but I put a lot of stuff in them.
