SOLD - Lenovo T60 15", 3GB RAM, T7200, Flexview, Wireless N

Hey All

I'm looking to get rid of my upgrade IBM/Lenovo T60. Specs are found below. Flashed with custom BIOS to remove wireless lan whitelist. Installed a wireless n card. Processor upgraded to Core 2 Duo and RAM maxed out. Fan replaced with a T61 fan to reduce noise. Had an SSD and Windows 7 installed for a while and ran flawlessly. Selling because I bought a new computer.

There seems to be some dust behind the screen (see circled section of pictures). There are no dead pixels that I can see. Includes Windows XP license (installed). Occasionally I hear a buzzing while it is operating (Display maybe?). Additionally, I know the DVD drive can read disks but I do not think its writing functionality is still operational.

Cosmetically the computer seems to be in good condition with a few scrapes and scratches.

Charger Included. Please note that this computer is seven years old or so. As such, no CDs nor any technical support is provided. The item is sold as is. Please ask all questions in advance. I'm looking for $200 PayPal. Insured UPS Shipping included in price. Located in NYC.

Additionally, what kind of battery is it shipping with? (Lenovo or aftermarket? How many cells?)

Battery is original Lenovo battery. I put the P/N in the original post.

First, welcome to the forum, warreq!

Second, "this place" - the Marketplace - is exactly for buying and selling e.g. ThinkPad's and related equipment, so you're doing just fine!

Third; kindly be informed that you will be charged heavily by the Danish Government if importing gods from outside-EU, see e.g. Toldregler - Reglerne og gebyrsatser for køb og import fra ikke-EU lande or PostDanmark info: Køber du varer udenfor EU? (both in Danish). Therefore it often "pays off" to buy from inside-EU, if having the option.

I am having several T60's of the kind offered for sale here, and I am very satisfied with these, even here close to 2014, where many newer laptops are of course available.

Feel free to PM me, if you need more information about e.g. importing laptops from US to Denmark.

Just wondering what the going rate is to import a "god"? and does the type matter? like would thur cost more than zeus? (for example).

Just kidding, it's a minor typo but I couldn't resist commenting.

ps. On a more serious note, there are ways around the import fees, all of which have drawbacks of course but they can be reduced or avoided entirely under the right circumstances.
