Yes, this is one of them rare birds. Make that a very pretty rare bird, since the machine shows virtually no signs of use apart from some wear on the lid. Overall, I'd rate it at least 9 on a 1-10 scale. Definitely one of the prettiest widescreen T61/p units I've seen in the last two years.
This fine ThinkPad does have some light play in the hinges which is extremely common for these units, but it's far from overwhelming and/or dangerous.
Although the machine sports a "safe" date code, I've thoroughly tested (read:tortured) the GPU with both FurMark and Freestone and wasn't able to get it to crash, overheat or bluescreen. If you have any particular test that you'd like me to run and take pictures, feel free to ask.
I'm currently running a 64-bit version of W7 Pro on the configuration listed above, and am extremely pleased with how responsive the system feels given its age. In normal daily use - short of hardcore gaming or heavy video rendering - it feels every bit as fast as a QC W520 I have sitting next to it...
Pictures will be available sometime pretty soon, stay tuned.
And for the non-believers only, here's the (expired) warranty info from Lenovo's website:
