Two T21's and one 600E left!
Our second child will be born in three months, and what was my office/work/storage room will now become a bedroom for the new addition. We are very pressed for storage space, so my accumulation of Thinkpads must go. I've already thrown away the things that just don't work at all, but can't bear to just throw these away as they do work to an extent (some better than others). So, to make this go quickly I am going to give them away-the buyer will pay the shipping costs-and I will ONLY ship to buyers in the US. No international shipping!
None of these laptops are perfect-they have signs of wear-but they are useable as a whole or as parts. Some may have a battery that works, some may not have a battery at all. Some have a good CMOS battery, some don't. They may be missing an optical drive and a hard drive. If your unit happens to arrive with an optical drive or a hard drive-or both-then consider it a bonus. None of them will come with ac adapters. They may be missing memory covers. Some screens work fine, others have failing or failed backlights. I just briefly powered them on to verify power, and that's it. I just need these gone ASAP, and I figure some here could use them.
I have four T21 laptops, all with PIII-750MHz CPU's and at least 128MB RAM. One has a nice, bright 14.1" screen, a HD with Windows 2000 installed and a bad CMOS battery, the other three have 13.3" screens with intermittently working backlights. All have working keyboards and the cases are in good working shape.
I have two 600E machines. One has a PII-366MHz CPU, 160GB RAM, 12GB hard drive, and a backlight that is red on startup. The other machine has a PII-300MHz CPU, 160GB RAM, a 60GB HD, and also has a backlight that is red on startup. Both have bad CMOS batteries.
So that's a quick rundown of what I have. It's first come, first served. Don't complain if you don't like what you get-you are only paying for shipping. I will probably ship them USPS Priority Flat Rate Box, so figure around $16 to ship individually. If someone wants more than one, I will do my best to combine to keep the shipping costs down. Payment will be via Paypal preferably.
If these aren't all spoken for in a couple of days, they go in the dumpster. So help me find them a good home!
