WTB

Part numbers from HMM are 39T0643, 93P4840, 39T0765,

but there are probably others that fit.

Indeed-for your own reference and indeed others who hear your calling- Any T4x as well as R5x keyboards will fit.

I might have a keyboard for you-but not sure. But if no one else helps you-hold me to it.

ONLY the 15" keyboards (from T4x/R5x) will fit! They have 3 studs for mounting them into the laptop.
The 14.1" keyboards have the identical keyboard size and layout, but they have 4 studs that don't match the 15" studs!

Ah. Might have been important to mention.

Still doesn't change my proposal, most of the T4x machines I get in are 15".

Thanks Medessec. I will hold you to it, but not just yet.
And thanks RBS for the details. Do any three of the four studs
match the sockets of the 15 inch variety-so that the KB
would fit if one stud were excised?

I didn't think so. IBM has a way of making it harder than it needs to be... but that's the price to pay for perfection.

Turns out I have a few spare keyboards, but I think only one has all the keys, the others are missing keys and are kinda messy. Plus... I've noticed a couple of them have different key mechanisms.

I'd hold out on my offer for awhile, and if no one else has a nice keyboard for you, you can probably take mine.

I have a 15" T43 to part out. No missing keys; keyboard working fine as I recall. I don't know p/n and I'm out of town until weekend. But PM me if you're still looking for one.
