WTB T Series Ivy or Haswell

#1 Post by kinderheim511 » Sat Feb 01, 2014 10:45 pm

I've had a couple E Series and now i'd like a more solid T.

Must have/be:
- rigid (not plastic)
- numeric keyboard
- not sure about their new trackpad, the one on E531 was difficult to work on, but if you vouch i'll think about it
- IPS or something with good viewing angles

You should be willing to ship to Romania. Payment by whatever means make you feel safer. EU has precedence over US because of lack of taxes.

Thank you.

You might help your cause if you said what you'd like to spend. Good Luck.

Well, i've been looking at new thinkpads on ebay in Europe and i'd like to stick under 1000 Euros. They're cheaper in US but i have to pay 24% of their value at Customs, unless a friend sends it, but i can't trust a stranger with this kind of money.

I recently bought a Clevo W740SU with 1100 Euros, and while it offers great perfomance (having i7-4750HQ) the build quality is the poorest i have ever seen, i simply can't take it on the road. So i figured i can take something with less horse power and stronger build, it should be ok for my needs.
