timing couldn't be worst. Just bought a 7700 literally 5 minutes ago.

Definitely bad timing, but anyway, I did offer him a T9300 that is brand new (NOS) in a sealed lenovo box. The cost was higher than your used chip, but after some discussion he felt the T7700 better fit his budget so we went with that option.

I also have some T8300 penryn chips that are new (NOS) in sealed lenovo boxes, a nice find since they haven't been sold new in years.

I would have went with the T8300 if I could not afford the T9300. IMHO Penyrn has it all over Merom.

I agree, I'm a huge fan of the penryn design and we had discussed that but in this case I think cost was the deciding factor.

are the 9300 and 8300 CPUs sold? I would like to buy either. What is the cost and Shipping cost to GREECE?

Nice to see a fellow greek on the thinkpads forum :) Aside from that, I have dealt with TuuS in the past, and things couldn't work out better, I can highly recommend any transaction with him :)
