Currently I have X31 Intel2100B.
Here's a question. If I upgrade it with Atheros, can I still use the "wirelss light" that blinks when using the wireless modem? I've been told that some wirelss cards that's not "IBM" certified won't light up. Thanks in advance.

you should be able to... i'd check to see if the atheros is compatible with your thinkpad though

I have a R40 2681-HSG that is in need for a wireless card.....mine has the antenna, but no card.
This model should work then, if I am not mistaken. I live in South Africa, and would love to take it of your hands. How can we do payment, and how will shipping work. I would pay for the shipping naturally
