Hi

Since i have to move soon, im considering selling some of my machines. But i would like to get a estimated Price, before selling.

All the machines are in Denmark, europe. And i would like to sell within the EU, if possible.

The first computer: My Thinkpad "T61F"/T601P/Frankenpad

Specs:

14.1" T60P body w. 1400x1050
2.8 GHz Core2Extreme at only 1.075V
256MB Quadro FX570M that can be stable overclocked at around 25%. NOT the usual 128 MB one found on other FPs. Of course its from later than 08/08.
1x4 GB DDR2 RAM at 800MHz and 1x512 MB
64 GB SSD
Middleton BIOS for SATA II speed
Windows 8.1 64 bit, activated.
Intel 5100 wifi Card
There is used artic MX-2, to get the lowest possible temps (CPU doesn't exceed 83C in Intel Burn test!).

With it comes a fully working T60P mobo, with 2x1 GB RAM and a 2.13 GHz CPU. A DVD drive and bottom of a 15.4" T61p and a dockingstation.

EDIT: Asking prive is 750$

Other machines:

OQO 01+

1 GHz TM5800
512 MB RAM
30 GB HDD
4.8" display with 800x480
"Copper shim mod" for lower temps
Working (!!!) 4000 MaH battery

Lots of cases and bags, and every original part.

EDIT: Asking prive is 150$

You are welcome to ask questions, or make me an offer. But if the Price is too low, id rather keep them. But first i would like to hear your opinions.

You are also welcome to make an offer :)

Best regards

I've always found the 14" Frankies with the widescreen T61 mobos grafted into them pretty insane, yet incredible mobile 4:3 solutions. I personally don't like losing the fantastic use of the Ultrabay though... but having a properly fed FX 570M, coupled with the headroom of an X9000, it really is a match made in heaven for a mobile 4:3 workstation. Docking port still pops out fine on it, right?

If the Frankie runs as stable and as nicely as you say it does, and you've done a proper job putting it together, it might tickle some people's fancy on here.

That OQO 01+ looks pretty interesting... and also it seems to be quite rare. A copper-shim... on a UMPC?! Good lord man. I suppose whatever you need to make it a pocket-rocket.

I'm not interested in buying any of these machines, but I'll PM you with some information.

I made at typo in #0: Its a T60P mobo in "accessories"!!

Anyway; it pops rigth into the dock. No problems there 8) (actually it spent most time sitting in the dock)

I'm assuming you used a 15.4" widescreen T61p motherboard and squeezed it into the 14.1" 4:3 T60 chassis? If so, very nice!

Yep. That's exactly what he did, and it's the only way you can get a post 08/08 all original motherboard, and 256MB FX 570M instead of the 128MB you find on the 4:3 boards. The audio ports and everything line up just fine too- the biggest issues is there is slightly more modification to the roll cage, and you lose the functionality of the UltraBay, because the board pokes out too far to the right in the tiny chassis. The SD card reader is also going to be obscured behind the plastics-unless you can figure on a way of gaining access to it.

I think this is one of the best kind of Frankenpads, despite the disadvantages... because it still holds solid, and you get NVIDIA graphics. And you get all that power in a small package.

I remember doing this same conversion a year ago, but with a 15.0" chassis, just for fun. I posted a thread on here.

I'm glad someone was able to actually follow through with it.

Good luck with your sale. 8)
