FS: Thinkpad R31 2657-XXA, $50 OBO

Upgrades:
512 MB RAM ( 2x256 )
40 GB hard drive

Problems:
1) Battery does not hold a charge
2) Internal 802.11b wireless doesn't seem to work with Ubuntu 10. ( It's a "prism 2.5 wavelan" card )

The system works fine I just don't have a use for it. I'd prefer it go to someone that wants an antique or can use it for parts.

If the wireless card is a problem; I have been using a linksys 802.11g PCMIA card that could be negotiated into the deal.
