thanks for the link..
I had just prior to reading your reply placed an order through amazon..
then I took a look at my WTB post and BAM, there was your answer..
followed the link and after some hiccups with the various payment options finally telephoned a nice girl(lady) who was in RTP and she walked me through ordering one online for the $240 + sales tax.. free delivery.. shipping from N Carolina so it should be here by Wednesday..

all in all it went pretty smoothly..

cancelled the order through amazon..

again, thanks for the link..

NOW i'm going to need some sort of keyboard for it so in can run my brain app (http://www.thebrain.com/) on the thinkpad tablet 2..
which is a pretty neat application..
