Selling the rest on eBay, x-sauc is my seller name so some of these will fall into that. Thank you everyone for looking.

Hello everyone, going to be moving this summer so some TPs got to go!
All prices include shipping within the mainstates of the US.
To international buyers, I have yet to ship anything internationally, so I don't how things goes about customs and import fees. If interested, please let me know how to go about this.
All laptops come without a charger unless stated. I have 2 prong and 3 prong OEM variants, $15 to add one on (limited availability, need some for myself).
HDDs can be erased with DBAN if so (minus the 701C). They can be removed to shave off $20, still it'll come with a HDD door and caddy unless stated missing.
Prices are everywhere on this... so if something seems overpriced, I'm open to offers. I want them gone!
Links for just about all I'm selling, links to imgur, 1200x900 pixels, I tried to keep them around 400K in size.

701C TYPE 2640-5TU
80486 DX4 CPU, 11904KB RAM via bios, 16KB cache, no battery, and dead CMOS battery...
540MB drive with Win 95.
Unit has a good amount of scuffs, rubs off just by feeling it.
The mic seems to be too sensitive, whistles, also there is an odd high freq sound at certain lid angles and positions...
Has a wonderful screensaver with the words "Its a great day to live", I believe this unit is haunted, hence the odd sound.
Boots fine, might need to flick the switch two or three time like a kickstarter for it to catch.
Not sure what this would be worth, but maybe $100 in this condition? I have a replacement power adapter for it.
Lid - RAM - Bottom - Keyboard

I have a second unit, that is sticky and in worse condition...
701C TYPE 2630-UT2
80486 DX2 CPU, 7808KB RAM via bios, 8KB cache, dead CMOS, battery jammed, with crusties and not recognized.
It does boot to an OS, but some keys arent registering, also the left click is broken!
Scuffed way worse than the 'Good' one.
$50 takes it, I'd want to sell it for parts.
Lid - Lid again - BIOS errors - Bottom - Keyboard

SOLD via eBay

701C dock with a Parallel port connector.
Tested it with the 'Good' unit, external keyboard and mouse work!
I don't know about the other ports condition... Its all french to me.
The docking pins look like my teeth so they are crooked but working, one of the latches broke.
$30
Dock - Pins

I did have an OEM 701C charger somewhere, and the elusive Floppy drive with proprietary connector.
I'll have to do some digging during the day, they are stored somewhere.

15" UXGA IPS T60p, 2.16GHz T2600, ATI FireGL V5200 GPU, TYPE 2007-96U.SOLD

14" SXGA+ T60p, 2.0GHz T2500, ATI FireGL V5200 GPU, TYPE 2623-D8U
160GB 7200RPM HDD, 3GB of RAM, Windows 7.
This unit is wrapped with carbon fiber vinyl on the lid, palmrest, keyboard bezel, and touchpad.
Keyboard is in excellent condition, very very slight shine on the spacebar lid doesn't wobble much, screen is in perfect shape.
Battery works great, 137 cycles, 9-Cell Panasonic, charges to 73.80Wh.
DVD CD-RW drive, NMB keyboard, WWAN (no card inserted), bluetooth.
My guess is that this would be worth $120.
Lid - Lid/ultrabay - BIOS - Bottom - Keyboard - Power Manager
Currently in talks, might be sold by next week...

IPS UXGA T43p 2.26GHz CPU, FireGL V3200, TYPE 2668-VQ7
Going to keep...

14" XGA T60 2.16GHz T2600 CPU, Intel GFX, TYPE 1953-D5U
160GB 7200RPM HDD, 2GB of RAM, Windows 7.
XGA screen works great, just low res  , CD-RW, DVD drive, no bluetooth.
NMB keyboard, it has had better days, shine on most keys, not that bad but its noticable.
Dead 3-cell battery, will include it unless otherwise stated, unit has a missing fan guard piece...
I figure $60 would be good for this? I might sell this locally...
But I might have a T43 screen that will work without flashing the EDID chip (when testing T4x LCDs, one unit worked on a widescreen T60)
And I also have a spare 9-Cell battery FRU 92P1133, 22 Cycles, charges to 80.88Wh, Panasonic.
Lid - Bottom - Keyboard - Fan grill

SOLD to a forum member. Thank you!

X61T, L7500, XGA screen, TYPE 7762-54U
160GB 7200RPM HDD, 2GB RAM, Windows 7, bluetooth installed.
This is my first TP, it served me well since late 2012 til I replaced it with the SXGA+ variant.
Unit has been though alot prior to me... it does somewhat get hot when in tablet mode all over.
Its missing two of the original bumper for the LCD, currently there is a small one inside one, also missing LCD screw stickers.
The battery holder has some tabs missing, so it does wobble somewhat... so it may break off when holding the battery with the laptop upside down.
The battery is non-OEM, works good, Power Manager doesn't throw errors, 62 cycle counts, 47.30Wh it charges to. Says its a Panasonic battery, but the Serial number is 1.
It comes with photoshop CS8 installed, power adapter and digitizer.
I'd like $100 for it shipped within US.
Lid - Screen - Missing covers - Bottom - Keyboard - Power Manager

X61, T7300, XGA screen, TYPE 7673-74U
NO HDD, No battery, 2GB RAM, missing caddy and the 2nd fan works whenever it wants, resulting in fan error code.
Missing some keycaps, otherwise in OK condition. Seems to have different keycaps than my X61T/S replacements...
I'll send a X61s keyboard with it as well, giving the buyer the option if to buy keycaps seperately or to use the spare.
$40
Lid - BIOS - Bottom - Keyboard

X200 2.4GHz P8600, WXGA screen, webcam, TYPE 7458-CM1
160GB 7200RPM HDD, 2GB RAM, Windows 7, locked bios but still bootable to OS.
Lid used to have a sticker, thus looks funky, has scratches.
Unit was definately used alot, the right USB doesn't work, other two are fine. Keyboard has shine.
Battery has 131 cycles on it, Sanyo unit, 66Wh charge capacity.
$120 takes it, I'll include a small charger that came with it.
I overcame the bios lock by installing Windows on a T400 and then just putting that HDD to the X200.
This unit will not let you select a boot option when F12 is pressed.
Lid - BIOS - Bottom - Keyboard - Power Manager

X200T 1.86GHz L9400 CPU, WXGA screen, multitouch, WWAN, TYPE 7449-EKU
160GB 7200RPM HDD, 2GB RAM, Windows 7, no digitizer, Photoshop CS8 installed.
Been used for awhile, lid has scratches, keyboard has had better days.
LCD works fine, I'm not a tablet touch person but the multitouch works so far, I cant seem to scroll, edge problem?
Battery been abused, it probably lasts only 45 minutes sadly, shows fair condition and 252 cycles, another broken latch.
I'd say this thing is worth $115 in this condition?
Lid - BIOS - Keyboard - Power Manager

I also have another X200T with the same machine type but without an HDD, or battery.
Sale went south via eBay (buyer didn't want to pay global shipping and requested I help "protest" with a cancelled sale)
I would like $60 for this one, given it ended at that price, but shipping/tax cost an extra $60 for that Greece buyer!

Sold via eBay

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Not so great units
This is more feeler, I'd like to bundle these with other sales, I'll kick down the prices.

I have a few spare parts collected. Maybe two 15" T60 palmrests in OK condition. I'll have to get an estimate on shipping before I set a price. $8 each before shipping however.
An IPS SXGA+ T60 with a 'stain' on the LCD screen, gambled on it via ebay, needed the mobo replaced and I saw the damage on it, $50 takes it.
XGA 15" T60, barebones, shiny palmrest I think... $30 if you'd want to bundle it with anything here. These two units have a T2500 CPU, GPU im unsure, FireGL V5200?
My T60/1 nVidia unit took a dive, not sure if its the GPU, had a misplaced inverter smoking prior to the death, a replaced mobo is what I think of.
Anyways, I got a spare T7500 CPU, 120GB 7200RPM HDD, decent keyboard, SXGA+ IPS screen with hinges in nice condition...
I don't want to part from it, mainly because I'd want to save it, but well, I could use the cash.
$20 each for the palmrest, HDD, CPU, keyboard, T61 fan. $50 for the screen with lid assembly.
But $90 takes this whole thing away if one happens to have a spare board as this is FrankenPad ready.

HDD was sold to a forum member with the XGA T60.
Keeping the rest for a frankie...hehehe

I have an R61 with T7100 CPU, nVidia GPU, but a WXGA+ screen/lid from a T61...
It has an OEM battery that shows bad battery in the Power Manager, but worked good when on battery mode (I'd want to say two hours time?)
Screen has some damage... $100.
Lid - BIOS - Keyboard - Power Manager

Units without HDDs, power supplies, and dead batteries, 2x 380Z, A20m, free whatever shipping costs, not in great condition.
There is also a TP 560 that isn't working? Blank screen, didn't check VGA cord, I believe the HDD spins...
I'll be in San Diego by June and in Vegas June 20-22, so if theres anyone interested and is near, I'll simply just hand it to ya!
If no one takes by August, I'll give these to my uncle to weld/mend into something.

I have a few more, but... this took alot longer than I thought!
W500, X61s, T4x 14" SXGA+ screens, T60 halftops (for LCD testing), T6x ultrabays, monday I will update this.
365XD and/or 755CE I may sell for $20 each... both dead batteries, but w/ plugs. I'll keep ya posted.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Message me here or sauceyjames@gmail.com, I get an email anyways from TPF...
I'll accept Paypal, checks or money orders if you wish. Not sure how one goes about sending cash in the mail, but I'll take it.
As for trades... if anyone has a spare 770 hdd/caddy that could be part of a payment.
Hopefully when I move, my siggy will mainly be A31p, S70/X300, X61T, 770X.

Thanks! I just snowballed these in the last two years.
Reading TPF and ThinkWiki drove me get and try more.
Though I think my collection is just a flesh wound to some here, it was fun.

I got a LaserDisc player and I think I'll start nabbing those for now.

No photos unless requested, but condition is similar to the previous X200T except I didn't clean the lid from sticker residue.
Hello!

I've been looking for a while for a cheap X200T to use for college. I've just registered there but have a decent feedback on eBay that u can check if you'd like to.

Could you take a couple pics of the non-HD X200T? Is it missing anything other than the HDD and Batt (Does it have the caddy?). Anything else "wrong" with it?
If you could test the keyboard for non-working keys and the screen for scratches/stylus problems I'd also be grateful.

I'm quite interested in this laptop and would kindly get it out of your hands as long as you don't mind shipping to Spain (I wouldn't mind paying taxes for it)

Thank you.

Those 701Cs will be gone if anyone's going to play off a "I'll just think about it..." and I'll have to ask my roommate if he wants any of these machines!

i think the "junker" 701 is a 701Cs ("Cs" meaning dual twist passive display)..

if anyone is interested to know, i have NEW old stock (means original IBM spare parts) keyboards and planar boards, some printer cables, dock bars (aka port replicator or dock) and some other accessories..

erik has a near pristine 701C he is willing to sell..

in total i have about 7 or 8 701C's (plural, not passive display model) ranging from a 9 (my keeper) to a 1 (spare parts but not many of them)..

the T60 series, especially the UXGA IPS display models are workhorse thinkpads..

as for the insanity poll, lets just say i have a LOT of antique thinkpads and a few really rare models (like 2 S30's, an 860 power PC and a 755 CDV) and some not so antique.. 1 transnote, three thinkpad tablets (win8, android).. 2 T61P WUXGA, 1 T60P UXGA IPS, 2 T60, 2 X300's.. a box full of 760 series.. and more.. most will power up and run..

and probably more i can't think to list right now..

The displays of the 701C units look the same. Not sure if its a Cs model but I didn't look it up they type or other clues.

@Bill, I saw an upgraded 701C with an AMD CPU that sold over £350 on eBay.
I looked up for more info and was surprised you had some selling awhile back. Truely a collector's item.

Well, it should say blatantly on the right-side hinge in white letters unless it's been rubbed off, "701C" or "701CS". A side-by-side boot up of both different model computers is quite startling- the 701C's screen is very bright and clear, the 701CS features the older DSTN technology with frame-ghosting, lines in brighter points on the screen, etc. 701Cs are obviously far more desired, but the 701CS still has the absolutely awesome Butterfly keyboard. Which is why I always have my 701CS out for people to see and play with, and my 701C is tucked away with my T43p, A31p, and G41.

The craziness of having multiple Thinkpads doesn't bother me either:
http://www.medessec.info/m/TPC01/IMG_1296.JPG
http://www.medessec.info/m/TPC01/IMG_1275.JPG
And it seems having a ridiculous amount of Thinkpads isn't a shunned activity on this forum either... with a lot of others having astounding collections I will never be able to get anywhere near, and some actually holding onto ridiculously rare pieces of equipment for the preservation and the betterment of vintage and moderately new Thinkpad users everywhere.

Back to Saucey... I wouldn't doubt that half of this will be gone quite soon... he's posted some very fair prices(especially for that UXGA T60p) and I'd probably buy the X200T if I wasn't between investment withdrawals and if I wasn't hunting for a X201T instead.

Another thing I noticed... your W700ds isn't on here! Are you selling that separately, or have you changed your mind about it? Just curious, I'm obviously not looking to buy it...

@Medessec: I'm thinking about selling it, but I made my mind today that I should. I didn't post any photos of it yet, but I'll tidy it up and post it along with a USB hub, with a spare keyboard and numberpad.

I bought the numpad to try to make a new ultrabay number pad whith a CD drive and the LiteOn controller from a ThibkPad USB keyboard. Didn't work initially.
Anyways I'll update with the multiple keyboards I own I gotta get rid of... (Corsair K70, Model M, Dell unit)

As always very interested in 701 stuff. I have 2 701Cs chassis and just waiting for a 133 mhz AMD lower board from Switzerland. I need an upper planar board and always interested in parts.
I have several lower planars, lots of good keyboards and some good chassis pieces. Also looking for a Thinkpad 755 (the old pre-mWave version) 10.4 inch 640 x 480 screen.

I have a PPC unit which I think is an 820? Type 6042-96D. It boots to an external monitor but I cannot get the onboard display to light despite replacing it and the cable.

I have a 2603-08N which I think is a 500 monochrome model fully working and in great 9/10 condition with all accessories running Win 3.1 with internet access.

Fully working Transnote with Windows XP, working pen, good internal and main batteries.

Others too numerous to list; including a fully working 360PE. Could use a 365 series.

Does anybody by any chance have a 730T even nonworking? Mine got some ant killer on the screen and it is milky now but fully working otherwise.

Willing to trade or buy. Not really interested in selling for money.

Feel free to PM.

hwattys-you should definitely post a Trade or FS: Ad of your own... that's a mighty desirable group of Thinkpads you're looking to trade around, even if they're only partially working. That 820 in particular, I know someone will want it.

I can probably find a 365... there's this place in Sacramento that sells old 80s/90s electronic hardware surplus, and he always has a bin of old, cruddy Thinkpads. He's also got a separate bin of Port Replicators, and power supplies. Next time I visit, I can probably keep an eye out for vintages you guys might want... I remember seeing a 365 in there.

I PMed him a few times and we loosely worked out a deal, but we kinda lost touch, either that or I never received any packages from him. So my assumption is that he still has it... I wasn't as interested in his 730T, it was his 760XD that I wanted, so you can definitely ask him about it.

I have the W700ds with a USB dock on eBay...
Link
I think I may sell it here for $1450, because eBay would take $150 anyways from $1500...
Has a CD/DVD drive.

I have a corsair K70 keyboard (cherry red caps, have silencers) and a IBM model M keyboard. $50 each shipped.
Also a Sony MDR-7506 headphone with leather case for $50, as well.

The T60p units are in talks locally...

That's a niche collection. If you have to move then, they stack well with a sheet or two of the small bubble wrap. you can get 5 or 6 in a book size moving box. I hauled mine around for a while in boxes in 2011-12 before I had to go back overseas.

not sure what its worth to sell..

Could you try to recall (or test) what you mean by not working. (Won't turn on? Won't get past bios? Etc...)

Also if you could quote prices of what you'd part with the accessories or the device itself?

I found one on eBay but its broken and admin locked out and the seller thinks it will sell for 375 USD. He's insane (no one will pay that in that condition) because in March one sold in pristine condition for that price (there's a big difference though).

I just bought a working one off eBay a few days ago for 162$ (hasn't arrived yet) but it has no accessories and as a thinkpad hoarder I'd always enjoy having another.

Same here, I saw that Transnote on eBay as well, really dumb why someone would pay that much. Its not like these things are like cars where a non-running barn find is worth $5K.

Always nice to have a backup or twelve...

The W500's were posted on eBay but didnt sell at $200...
'Bad' 701C sold, still got the other one. I'm thinking about locking and redoing another ad because well there's a lot to read.

Are you sure about the T60p's having FireGL 5700 GPUs?

I thought they only came with the 5200 or 5250 models.

Tell me about any 15" T60 bodies + ultrabay optical drives you may have: I'm building a Frankie from the inside out, but it has to be pretty... so I'm admitting up front that I'll be a cosmetics snob.

I only have 3 15" T60s.
One is eventually going to be used to house a W500.
The other two... I wouldn't say they are in great condition.
I was just gonna wrap it in carbon fiber or plastidip it.

One of my screens are busted and the other I will be using, while the last is a non IPS XGA unit.

But I'm in transition of moving, I think in two weeks I'll have an inventory check.

Still curious about 15" T60s/parts thereof. My ultimate goal is described here, but for the short term I could definitely use something cheap and ugly to be test-building/burning in/BIOS-flashing on. Especially if that helps alleviate another forum member's, uh... problem.

Also interested to know if you still have the Model M keyboard.
