For sale: IBM T42 ThinkPad 2373-5TU -- Condition 8/10
Includes Port Replicator (P/N 74P6734), 2nd AC adapter, original Microsoft XP SP2 CD, set of burned Rescue & Recovery CDs, & 13R2916 replacement screw set. Pictures available on request.
Specifications
Pentium M 725 (Dothan: 1.6GHz, 2MB cache)
2GB RAM (was 512MB)
40GB 5400rpm HDD (restored to factory config)
14.1 XGA(1024x768) TFT LCD
64MB ATI Radeon 9000,
24x24x24x/8x CD-RW/DVD,
Intel 802.11b/g wireless(MPCI),
Modem(CDC),
1Gb Ethernet(LOM),
UltraNav, Secure Chip,
6 cell Li-Ion battery (Good for ~1 hr?)
WinXP Pro (SP1; with legible COA)
Notes:
HDD has been restored to factory config using included Rescue & Recover CDs (burned from recovery partition).
TrackPoint can be erratic at times (drifts occasionally; sometimes when drifting, acts as if left button is simultaneously depressed) -- needs new keyboard/trackpoint assy?
When upgrading RAM to 2GB, three keyboard screws were not replaced.
Left button below trackpad is semi-functional. Left button above trackpad is fully functional.
