FS: Thinkpad 240X for parts -$15 shipped

For sale today is an old thinkpad 240X that I purchased a month or 2 ago.

It does not work.

When the power button is pressed, there is some HDD noise and the light comes on, but nothing happens.
Based on the amount of noise from the hard drive, I would guess that the computer is not even trying to boot.

I removed all of the components from the mobo and powered it on. I did not get a beep code, so I am assuming that the mobo is bad.
I also attempted to use an external monitor to no avail.

Details:
-The computer case is in decent shape. Some small scuffs on the top, but the bottom is in great condition.
-Comes with a Windows 98 2nd edition license on the bottom of the computer.
-The 12GB HDD and the elusive caddy are included. I would guess Windows 98 is installed, but I've never checked. Consider the HDD as is.
-PCMCIA wifi card included
-Charger included
-Battery included. Holds enough charge to make the HDD spin.
-The screen appears to be in good shape, but I've never been able to get a picture on it. So, it's untested.
-Keyboard with all its keys. Untested.

I will post pictures if requested. I will also test the HDD later.
