GONE: Copy of recovery disks T43

Earlier this year I made contact with a guy who was interested in a copy of my T43 recovery CDs. I made copies, but I never managed to get in touch with him again, so the copied CDs are still on my desk. Before I throw them away, I thought I'd see if anyone here wants them. They are free, you only pay me the postage. This is cost-prohibitive for someone from too far away, so this offer is directed to users in Norway / Scandinavia / Europe.

The original CD Nr.1 has the following label:

There is also a boot disk, but don't remember where I got the ISO for that from. I have never tried these disks, so no verification that they actually work. I can try them on one of my T43s before I ship them out, if the receiver want me to.

I'd be interested in them, how much would it cost to send them to England?

Just went down to the store and checked. The postage is about £4.5, so with the envelope etc. we say £5. Does that sound reasonable? It was a actually cheaper than I expected.

If you want me to, I can put an old IDE drive in the T43P and see if they work. The recovery disk CD-Rs are just ISOs made from the original disks, so I don't see why they won't work. But you never know, and I am uncertain to where I got the boot disk from. That might not even be needed, as that wasn't a part of the original recovery disk kit I bought. But I never got the chance to use this recovery kit, so I have no experience with it.

Personally I don't mind if they're tested or not, but if it won't be much hassle then please do, £5 seems fine to me.

Yes, they seem to work fine. I have run all 7, so the laptop is in the process of configuring itself now. So at least we know there are no errors on the discs.

And the confusion with the "boot disc" was my fault. That's a copy of the Rescue & Recovery CD, that I for some reason had labeled Boot CD. The R&R CD actually came along in the kit now that I think about it. That CD is the one it boots to, and it contains the options and tools for repair, file saving, full restore etc.

So if you want them, let's exchange some payment and address details on PM, and I can have them shipped to you tomorrow afternoon.
