GONE: IBM ThinkPad T20 and T21 +shipping

#1 Post by cds.helpdesk » Mon Aug 18, 2014 9:07 pm

I am about to recycle these but thought I would post here first if anyone wants either or both for parts
PLEASE be patient with my response as I do not check this forum nor associated email very often

ThinkPad T20 TYPE 2647-61U 10/00
ThinkPad T21 TYPE 2647-4AU 01/01

I am posting for FREE, AS IS ... unfortunately, I am unable to test these so don't know if either is functional.

BOTH DO NOT HAVE: battery, ac adapter, memory, HDD, HDD door/caddy.
one has 8x DVD-ROM, the other has CDRW/DVD-ROM

fair/worn condition.
one laptop has bottom wireless and memory door covers with paint finish fraying badly. hinges on both are tight, 61U has small chip on the inside plastic casing of the LCD cover. keyboard keys, mouse keys and palmrests are in good condition on both. that's about all I can tell you unless you have specific questions and I will try my best to describe as accurately as possible.

FREE + cost of USPS Priority Medium Box Flat Rate (that is, US only)-- i think both will fit in single box...
OR else local pickup in MA

20140821 UPDATE, changed from FREE to GONE -- these two ThinkPads are en route to a new home!

Sorry for the confusion.
The USPS Priority Flat Rate Medium Box comes in two sizes-- i meant the larger, side loading one called "Priority Mail Medium Flat Rate Box - 2."
USPS keeps changing the size of the the boxes, gradually making them slightly smaller throughout the years.

UPDATED:
Yes, both laptops fit in the "Priority Mail Medium Flat Rate Box - 2" with ample room for packaging materials.
