Hello Thinkpad fans,
It's probably a long shot, but I'm looking to purchase a PowerPC based Thinkpad (model 820/850/860). The 860 is preferred, but beggars can't be choosy! Any pointers on where one may be able to find such a system or if somebody is selling, I'm interested.
All the best,
Gabor

Re: WTB: PowerPC based Thinkpad (model 820/850/860
I have an 850 that is complete and boots up and puts out to an external monitor but I cannot get it to display to the screen. I have replaced the screen but not the video cable, which I suspect is the problem. I would consider a sale or trade. There is a picture of it here on the Forum somewhere and if interested I can give you a link.

Hello.
Please do send the link. What are the specs of the system? I've sent you a PM also.
Cheers,
Slim
