FS: My Thinkpad Museum legacy

As sad as I am to have to do this, i am having to part with most of my Thinkpad Museum. I have been commended by Lenovo for my collection. Even had an article done by them on me. My collection has slimmed down over the years. It used to exceed 90 full machines...

Here is a list of 40 relatively complete (ie.screens and keyboards, but no power supplies and may be missing covers, ram or batteries, but some are 100% minus the battery). I can provide more info upon request, just too many to spend time on. Questions? Just ask. I also have TONS of parts and parts machines.

That's a shame. If you don't mind me asking, are you just thinning the herd, or is there some other reason as to why you're selling these?

I'd be interested in the 760XL and the 770X at least, but would like to know more about them.

Steve, it's good to see you. Just curious, are you keeping any Thinkpads? If yes, which models are they?

I'm going to be moving and won't have a place to store them anymore.

When I get home, I can test the ones that you're interested in, and we'll go from there.

There are a couple that I want to keep, but selling comes first. If they don't sell, I may just find a place for them to be stored. I really DONT want to get rid of any of them. I was surprises at how many still boot.

It is a pity [could I say it in this way??] you only offer them in the US...
There are a few Thinkpads I could need, but I'm from Germany... :(

I'm sorry that I can only offer US sales for now. I'm trying to move them quickly, and with as little hassle as possible.. It might change later. Feel free to PM with the models that you might be interested in.

I'll wait a while, it doesn't hurry ;)

Edit: I've looked for the costs of shipping to Germany.... This is expensive :(
I think I'm not able to pay it.....

Also if you're looking for anything else legacy wise, I have a TON of pieces and parts! Even a working 600x base (no screen attached)!

Hi Steve! :)

Hope you feel better. Whenever you have a chance, please post as detailed list of machines you have as possible, so we can choose. I for one, still need some models ;)

Thanks in advance! :)

What's listed above, and not marked sold, is what I have left for relatively complete Thinkpads. I have some Non-Thinkpads that I will be posting later next week.

Aside from that, I have tons of parts machines. I just haven't had the time to dig through and test anything.

P.S. Thanks for your purchases!

Updated list, to show what's sold, or pending a sale.

Anyone else interested?

I coould be interested in the 390X or the 760XL, depending on price and condition. They will probably go into a collection, so at least condition 7-8 out of 10 would be needed. Hard drive and RAM not needed, but preferably all covers and doors.

But that depends on whether you ship overseas or not. No hard feelings if you don't, that really just saves me from being tempted to buy more Thinkpads.

Updated to show what's been sold, or pending.

Any other interest? I have TONS of 600 series parts. I also have another post listing a few of the bases/port replicators that I came across.

I have a few that I'm slowly pulling out, including the WinBookXL. I posted it recently, but since found that I have tons of stuff for it.

Not to hijack the thread, but how "vintage"?

I have some OLD stuff. What you might consider 1st generation laptops... I think two of them weren't even designed for windows. DOS only if I recall correctly.
