I guess you sent me a message a month ago or so through ebay about this and I stated that the postage to Russia is too high.

If you are willing to evaluate the option again through another courier, please be my guest.

I have both a brand new sealed and a used one N2C2AUK 3438-2AG
(i5-3320M / IPS Premium Multitouch SLB3 / 4GB DDR3 / 180GB SSD Intel 520 / BT / WWAN 3G Ericsson H5521GW with GPS / Intel 6205 WLAN / Camera / FPR / 6 Cell Battery LGC).

The price I am asking for the sealed is 700 GBP (excluding any paypal fees or shipping fees).

The price I am asking for the used is 550 GBP (excluding any paypal fees or shipping fees).

Local pickup and payment in cash from London UK, would be my most prefered option.
Otherwise paypal payment (with shipping costs and paypal fees on top), is the second alternative.

There is no USB3.0 on X220 Tablet, i7 or not.

There is ONE USB3 on the i7 version of the X220 Tablet (located on the left hand side and close to the CPU FAN ventilation.
The i5 model does not have a USB3 port.

The X230T has a proper set of USB3 ports though to all it's model variations.

No, there is NOT (unfortunately). Consult the Tabook (Ltwbook at this point) or other official Lenovo documents.

Apologies, it seems you are right on that.

The i7 version of the X220 does have one USB3 port, while the equivalent one Tablet does not!

I had a feeling they had the same mobo fitted for some reason. Apparently they don't as it seems.

Like I mentioned, I have BOTH a brand new sealed and a used unit.

The new is actually intact and sealed (no open box or excuses that other sellers might try to provide in order to try to sell).

Please check my actual listing on ebay. If you want to bid through ebay, I am afraid you will have to pay for the listed price (775 GBP) as 75 GBP is the ebay fees.

If you check my feedback, you will see that I've sold several ThinkPads (and also some brand new sealed X230 Tablets as well).


In the case of shipping and paypal payment, the shippment will be sent as fully insured so that we can be both fully covered against any loss or theft.
Shipping as uninsured, according to your request, will be at your own risk and responsibility, but I would not advise on that as it is an overseas dispatch.

Also the paypal address must much the shipping and billing address.

If you are 100% interested, please let me know which one would you want (either the new or the used), and please provide me with your postcode in a private message, so that I can calculate the exact postage for the Russian Federation.

FYI, the used is the one I personally use right now and the only reason I might consider selling this, was in order to have it replaced with a X1 Carbon Gen 2 (but not sure 100% if this would be a wise purchase on my side as the build quality and reliability has been significantly decreased to the new ThinkPads).

I see some offers on new X230t for $650-$750 on eBay, notably from newthinkpads, digjungle and antonline. Do they really sell new X230ts, or is it some kind of scam?
Did anyone here buy from them?

I have no experience with any of the three sellers you note. Their auctions are all for the multitouch variety and not the outdoor LCD you specified.

I am located in the UK, the units I have are bought from the UK and unfortunately prices in Europe are completely different (much higher) than the ones from the US.
