The laptop and screen were originally purchased from TuuS in July of last year. RealBlackStuff did the LED modification, which you can read about here:

http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=101885

When I bought the laptop, the display output was wonky, which was due to poor soldering in the wiring harness. Luckily, I had access to a lab to resolder the connections, which resolved the display issues. Nevertheless, I ended up using a different laptop, and so this one has been sitting unused since then. The screen is the best you'll find on a T60, and they are difficult (if not impossible) to acquire. The plastics are also in excellent condition. Rather than describe everything in writing, I've taken several high-quality pictures, which you can view here:

The BIOS doesn't do a great job of showing off the screen, but there's been enough said in the links above. The T60 and a 41++ 9-cell battery are included. The media drive is not included. I'm asking $200 (OBO) shipped to the lower 48 states, preferably via Paypal. We can also trade through eBay; my feedback is here:

The serial number should be visible in the images; if you have any other questions, let me know. Thanks!

- original motherboard
- 2 GB RAM
- 80 GB WD Scorpio Blue HDD
- Lenovo AC adapter included
- 41++ 9-cell battery

Note that the HDD and AC adapter were not originally included, but they are now.

That is really cool, and quite amazing. I should check out similar LED modding services for my 14.1" T61. Is a T61 Intel motherboard a straight drop and swap into the 15" T60? Or is there some stuff that needs to be done to the motherboard before the frankenpad transformation?

Edit: ah, read about the modem card and palm rest fitting. Anyone with the $$ should see if TuuS is still selling his frankenpad kits, as an LED UXGA T60 with Middleton BIOS would make for a really nice machine.

Welcome to the forum!

I (kindly!) suggest that you also list the remaining specifications for this T60, such as whether it still has its original motherboard inside, what amount of RAM is installed, what HDD or SSD is installed, and if the laptop comes with an OS installed (in the latter case it is of course implicitly expected that this OS is a legal copy!).

According to Lenono's site, the stock-configuration for this T60 (model/type 2007-72U) is:
T2500 (2 GHz), 1 GB RAM, 100 GB 5400 rpm HDD, 15" 1400x1050 LCD, 128 MB ATI Radeon X1400, CDRW/DVDRW, Intel 802.11abg wireless, Bluetooth/Modem, 1Gb Ethernet, UltraNav, Secure chip, Fingerprint reader, 6c Li-Ion batt, Windows XP Pro
Good luck with the sale! :thumbs-UP:

Johan
