Re: LF: X301 (EU)
For such a price I'd be willing to ship a very nice X300 (without HD or SSD) to Europe.
X300 (6478-1HU)
SL7100(1.2GHz), 2GB RAM, NO HD or SSD, 13.3in 1440x900 LCD, Intel X3100, CDRW/DVDRW, Intel 802.11agn wireless, Bluetooth, 1Gb Ethernet, UltraNav, Secure chip, Fingerprint reader, Camera, WinVista Business 32
PM me if interested.

Re: LF: X301 (EU)
I have an fully pimped X301 I could let go....
FRU is 2774RQ5, full original specs here.
Current Specs:
+ SU9400(1.4GHz)
+ 8GB RAM (upgraded from 4GB original)
+ 128GB Solid State Drive + 500GB 7mm HDD in optical bay caddy + 2x64GB miniPCIe MicroSD (upgrade from 64GB SSD original)
+ 13.3in 1440x900 LCD
+ Intel 4500MHD
+ CDRW/DVDRW + optical bay HDD caddy - only works with 7mm full size SATA drives (upgrade from CDRW/DVDRW)
+ Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 3945ABG (upgrade/downgrade from Intel 802.11agn)
+ Ericsson Mobile Broadband Module (fully Unlocked, Dell branded, upgrade from original WWAN upgradeable) - I think it is the F3507g but not sure how to check without taking the machine apart as it is installed under keyboard. It is 3G fully unlocked though and works great with Vodafone Ireland)
+ Bluetooth
+ 1Gb Ethernet
+ UltraNav
+ Secure chip
+ Fingerprint reader
+ Camera
+ Sanyo 3c Li-Ion (app. 2hr battery life with full brightness + all wireless running)
+ Linux ( upgrade from WinVista Business 32, can include original Lenovo install CD)
+ 2 adapters: 1 small 65w + 1 large 90w
So, upgrades are
8GB RAM + unlocked Ericcson 3G WWAN + 128GB SSD + 500GB 7mm optical caddy HDD + MiniPCie 2xMicroSd card installed with 2*64GB Kingston/Sandisk cards installed (boots perfectly from card in position 1 in the miniPCIe controller)
Pictures of the unit online at this link.
There are a couple of minor issues with the machine:
1. Bezel indicates that the machine is an X300 (see photos). It is not, it is an X301. Photo of side to show displayport should clear up doubt about this.
2. There is a minor screen imperfection with the machine - a small spot, about .5 of an inch in the lower right corner. Can be seen in photos. It is visible when the screen is all white (e.g while surfing a webpage that does not fill up the screen). Can be fixed if you are brave enough to open up the screen to clean it.
3. Some wear + scratching on the top lid of rubberized finish. Lid finish issues are not fixable. The stuff on the palm rest pictures is just oil from my hand and will clean right off. Keyboard is in great shape. I would grade the unit cosmetically as a 7.5/10
Ping me an IM with an offer if you are interested.
I am in the EU (Dublin, Ireland).
Have sold lots of really expensive Thinkpads over the last 8+ years on and have great feedback here in the forum. You can also check out my feedback under the same username on eBay.
