Time to let go of my beloved T61p, just too many computers in the house. I've taken very good care of it and have maxed it out within reason. Some of the important points.

Most important is that it has a T61p motherboard with the "good" nvidia date, the date on it is 8/08 or after I do have a picture of the date code when I replaced the thermal paste (there was no thermal problem, I just like to do preventative maintenance). It's been rock solid for me the last at least 4+ years.

I have flashed it to the middleton bios which lets you have sata2 speeds and any wifi card. I've replaced the wifi card with an intel 6235 which has bluetooth 4.0 and probably the only way to get internal high speed BT 4.0 on the t61 series. I know a lot of people couldn't get the bluetooth working on the intel 6235 but it's been working wonderful for me, I can put the original wifi card in if desired.

256gb Samsung 830 SSD. Windows 7 Pro x64

2x 4gb 8gb ram

WUXGA 1920 x 1200 (I will get the exact model if there is interest but I think it's the LG version)

DVD Recorder, good working extended panasonic battery. I have the original Lenovo Restore CDs.

I'd like to get $550 shipped in the Con US. Or $475 equipped with 2x 2gb sodimms (I had spent $150 for the 8gb ddr2 sodimm as they are pretty hard to find). If you want it barebones without ram, SSD maybe we can work something out.

Please note I'm currently running throttlestop undervolted (super stable, I'm just a firm believer in keeping all my electronics as well ventilated and cool as possible), with thinkpad fan control, and a laptop cooler. It runs perfectly fine without that setup but I may give you baseline temp if there any interest and that's with it undervolted and running thinkpad fan control at 3 fan setting.

Lovely machine. I have a number of Thinkpads at home, so I couldn't justify yet another one, but that's a great machine you have there. Good luck with the sale!
