Hi,

I'm selling a lightly used Thinkpad x240. There are no major scratches or dents; the only visible scratch are minor "keyboard impressions" on the LCD screen; and around the edges of the casing due to wear/tear of putting the laptop in and out of a briefcase.

Please inquire for detailed photos; I live in the SF Bay Area, and am willing to meet-up for in-person transaction.

Since it is a bit unusual that new members burst out with offering (rather expensive!) items in their very first post, you may want to provide potential buyers with some sort of credibility with respect to your past as a seller... such as feedback on eBay, HeatWare or whatever.

Warranty status, battery condition and copy of purchase receipt, BTW?

To provide context: I've been a reader of this forum for quite a long time, but never registered because I never saw the need to voice my (non-expert) opinion. I've owned and used x61, x220, and two x240s. I'm selling this one because I didn't like the lower resolution version of x240, but was too lazy to find a hi-res panel and replace it myself.

My only online credentials are on Amazon seller (http://www.amazon.com/gp/aag/details/re ... ZW04S5TLJX), but the reviews are limited. I hope this lengthy response and my willingness to meet in person compensate for the lack of this. I should add that I am willing to make this a ebay listing if that helps.
