Let me know if there is anything else you would like to see or any detail that is unclear. In general, you will see some rub from the display bezel onto the palmrest, this is unavoidable on these models and shows less in real life than it does in the photos. Light wear on the corners. Apart from that it is just about perfect.

Not shown in the photos is the power brick and ultrabay with DVD drive, both of which are genuine and in perfect condition. For the power brick, you can choose between the 45, 65 or 90W version.

Price is USD 300 plus shipping.

Any questions, let me know.

Still available, looking for a good home. Can reduce price to $275.

If you are interested but don't need the ultrabase/HDD/RAM etc, feel free to get in touch with a reasonable offer.

Good luck with the sale. It's one of my favorites.

My experience from seeing this panel a few times is that it's hard to find one without stuck/dead pixels.

I think the OP already stated it was dead/stuck pixel free.

I took my work issued x220 home tonight and measured. They are the same in front, 25mm. In the rear the x220 is about 3mm thinner. I snapped some photos, let me know if you want them.

Weight is 1208g for x220 and 1242g for x201, both without battery (but with harddrive and 2 dimm's wifi etc). Only a 34g difference. I only have a 9-cell for the x220 so comparing with battery would not be apples-to-apples. The 6-cell I am including with the x201 brings weight up to 1563g total.

The flexview on the x220 is not completely to my liking, btw. It doesn’t invert like a TN panel, but at about 45deg angle up, the display brightness cuts in half, rather suddenly. At 60-80 degrees it gets brighter again. Not a huge problem in daily use, but not like the AFFS panels.

That depends on your goal. If you can get it for less than the X220 and you don't need much oomph, it might be worth considering. The Sandy Bridge CPUs in the X220 are one of Intel's better efforts of late. The CFFL LCDs in the AFFS mod tend to offer better color, though will dim over time. If you do go that way, I'd slap on a X200 trackpadless palm rest and call it day.

Thanks for your reply

My only concern is weight/thickness/battery life, to be quite honest !
