WTB: Windows Vista Business Recovery CDs for T61 (7663-12U)

#1 Post by kim-chee-san » Thu Mar 26, 2015 11:18 pm

I'm upgrading my dad's original 80GB 5400RPM drive to a shiny new 500GB 7200RPM drive. Vista Business 32-bit recovery CDs would be great or an ISO that I can burn myself works too. Please let me know how much you'd like for either option. Thanks!

Would have gone for it if it were in English. Thanks though.

Anyone else?

@pianowizard - Did you see this notice on the linked page?

Sorry, I did not. However, these links have been removed many times before, and each time they returned after a couple months. I don't know why Digital River keeps doing that.

You can always change the language in a windows 7 ultimate/professional. And I have the documents/guide.
Are you Korean?

Hah....good guess...I'm sure my username didn't give it away at all. :D

Unfortunately, I bring great shame to my family as I can't speak or read Korean....but I am fluent in Spanish...go figure. Sending you a PM.....

If you still want the Vista Business CDs I may have a set, however by the time you install all seven CDs, then update to Service pack 2, update all your drivers/software you'll end up replacing nearly every byte of data you installed and 20-30 hours later you'll have an upto date system, or you can install a Vista setup disc with SP2 integrated which I also have, it's on a single DVD disc and installs fast and I have both 32 and 64bit versions. I get $20 each (used) which includes the COA (mail) and disc image (downloaded), or I can mail a disc for a small fee to cover the disc and postage. If you don't need the COA and just want the disc I can send it to you for a donation of any amount you like. These discs work with any version of Vista and will install whichever matches the product key. I have several Business Editions available and maybe a couple others but I'd have to check. I also have WinXP pro with SP3 and SATA integrated for only $10.

I'm not sure if there are any Windows seven COA's available at the moment but I do get them sometimes and I have the discs as well.

I've received one of these above mentioned Vista DVD's from TuuS before. And I have used it many times without issue and it works on pretty much any machine I have thrown at it (non Lenovo etc)!

So don't hesitate to hit him up if that is where you go
