I just bought a used X201, and I really want to sell my x60 for enough money to buy a battery and LCD screen cable for it. (Thinklight is burned out). I was thinking about asking for $65 USD + Shipping.

The x60 specs:
1709-H6U
3GB RAM
Core2duo T7200 2.0ghz (x64 CPU)
Intel 3945ABG WiFi
Bluetooth
Verizon WWAN card
Fingerprint reader
8-cell battery
No hard drive (caddy and door included).
edit: 120gb Hitachi (not IBM FRU)
No OS (XP COA is unreadable)
edit: Ubuntu Desktop 14.04LTS x64
No AC adapter (keeping for my X201)

The good about this PC:
-I just reset the battery gauge, and the 8-cell still shows 52Wh (70% of design capacity). On the 8-cell this should last several hours!
-Can run x64 Windows, since it has a Core2Duo T7200 (rare option on X60)
-Chassis has no cracks

Notes:
-The machine has average\moderate wear. The keyboard has shine and the trackpoint cap is worn.
-The screen has a few scratches, a small darker spot and the usual impression of the keyboard\trackpoint (can be seen in one of the pictures below on a white background)
-The battery has a minor crack \ piece of plastic missing (purely cosmetic, see picture)
-The Thinklight is burned out

I am a bit leery about selling a PC on a forum like this, I have always used either eBay or Amazon before in selling items, but if the right buyer is interested I would much rather sell it to a fellow thinkpad fan who will use and appreciate this machine.

Price too high, or just not a lot of interest in Core2Duo machines anymore?

not much interest in X60 i think..... It took me a great effort and compromise to sell my X60 tablet.....
I also put 2 X60 tablet mobos on ebay for $10, but no one's after it for 3 months....

X61 series would be much better

Thinking about it. I think it would be a good Chromebook candidate. How much would shipping run to 32580?

For some reason X60 units seem to be almost worthless nowadays. I've been watching a few on eBay and they haven't sold for very much at all. One sold for ~£11 plus shipping, and another for ~£19, plus shipping.

Those units did have Core Duos though, so I dunno.
