Hi, what is the market value of fully working IBM ThinkPad 340?

RBS' suggestion to search through past sold listings on eBay is spot on. That will tell you what some people have actually paid for such a system. Be sure to read the entire listings to see what potential problems have been noted by the sellers. You can also look at "Completed" listings to see what sellers have offered but nobody bit.

I've checked it and I've found only one for 30$ so it's not much.
I will never sell it but I wanted to know if it has some value for others.
I search everyday for some old models in Poland (my homeland) or Norway (I live here) but it's not many of those units here so when I buy something so rare (for me) I'm very excited. That 340 is my best purchase until now

Interesting to see another Thinkpadder here in Norway. A while ago I PM'ed with a user from Poland who lives in Norway, so I was sure it was you until I checked the username. And it was a different user.

Good luck with your 340, that's a nice collectible. I'm pretty sure you didn't find that one here in Norway, as I have had extremely little luck finding Thinkpads for sale here. All I can see on eBay now is an apparently optimistically priced 345, but who knows..

Hi No, everything I buy in Poland, I haven't seen any old ThinkPad at finn.no In Poland waits for me arround 20 laptops, I will bring them to Norway in september so I'll show pictures of my collection here
I have also small collection of old Toshiba Satellite series.

Another Think padder in Norway, nice to see. Feel free to let me know if you ever are over in the eastern valleys where I live so we can meet up and talk some Thinkpadding. I'm not over on the west coast that often, but it happens.
