I have an IBM ThinkPad A31P for sale. Completely unsure what this is worth. Say, $100+shipping or best offer?

Specs:

Mobile Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4-M CPU 2.00 GHz
2 GB RAM
40 GB IC25N040ATCS05 HD (Hitachi TravelStar 40GB 5400RPM?) Currently has dual boot with Windows XP Professional and Lubuntu 15.04, but will be wiped before sale.
The LCD screen has some slight discoloration at the periphery, which I understand is normal for the computer's age.
Includes FRU 26P8477 (CDC Modem Daughter Card).
Includes FRU 91P7663 (EDC Ethernet Daughter Card).
Includes battery FRU 02K6898, but I don't know that it holds much charge.
Includes floppy drive FRU 08K9606. Was able to create a BIOS update floppy disk and use it to upgrade the BIOS to the latest.
Includes DVD/CD-RW FRU 08K9868. Was able to install Windows XP Pro and Lubuntu 15.04 from optical media.
Includes two AC adapters, one FRU 02K6753 and one FRU 02K6756.
I will also include a port replicator, FRU 74P6735, but I'm not certain it was designed for this particular ThinkPad model. It seems to work, but the laptop doesn't exactly seem designed to "fit" it.

NOTE: There seems to be something wrong with the two USB ports on the laptop. The computer shuts off as soon as something is plugged into one of the ports.

Shipping would be from the central New York area.

hello and welcome to the forum..

the A31p was quite a nice thinkpad some years ago..

i had customers who purchased several.. my friend birger petterson being one of those people..

it might have some antique value IF it is in excellent condition..
cosmetically and electronically..

your USB port issue needs to be investigated..

otherwise, take a few pix and post them and let others know how the A31p works..

Check to see whether the plastic tab in the middle of the port has been damaged or is missing altogether. This is a very common problem on A3x systems.

Your machine as it left the factory, likely a part of a larger corporate CTO purchase:
P4-M 2.0GHz(512KB), Not installed(RAM, HDD), 15.0 UXGA(1600x1200) TFT LCD, open bay, Modem(CDC), Ethernet(CDC), TV out, Li-Ion battery
Best of luck with the sale.
