WTB: Thinkpad T40/42
WTB: Thinkpad T40/42
Hi all,
Looking to buy a Thinkpad T40 or T42, in good shape.
If anyone has one up for sale, I would certainly be interested in seeing some pics and reviewing the specs.
Let me know if anyone has one available.
Thanks

14.1" or 15"?
I have a T40 and a T40p for sale, both 14.1", as well as two 15" T43 and a 15" R52.
PM me if interested.

Re: WTB: Thinkpad T40/42
If you are still looking for one, I have a project T42 that I worked on (I'm writing on it right now
)
I've upgraded it to the following spec:
Base - T42 14.1"
CPU - Pentium M 2.0 (SL7EM)
GPU - ATI Fire GL T2
RAM - 2GB (max)
HDD - Crucial M550 128GB w/mSATA to PATA adapter
Display - 14.1" TFT 1400x1050 (SXGA+)
WAN - TP-LINK TL-WN861N, 300Mbps, IEEE 802.1b/g/n
+Blutooth Enabled (BMDC-2)
Power - Two adapters, new 6cell battery, + Ultrabay Battery
It also comes with an extra motherboard (lowest GPU), CPU, and an extra monitor unit (whole top part) with XGA display on it.
I'm currently running LM17.2 on it, and it's rather nice, I must say!
Please let me know if you are interested!
