Batteries matching the T60/R60 and T61 14.1" and 15" (non-widescreen) will fit in a T500.
Same for all 20V/90W chargers for T6x/R6x/T400/T500/T410/T510.

I can provide a Lenovo 90W adapter and cord (US format, I assume this will work in Canada). I do have a spare 6C battery that will work with the T500 (used with my T60/T60p/15.4" WS T61p) but it holds, if memory serves, roughly 65-70% its new capacity. I've also got a 9C that only holds about 1/3 its new capacity. Let me know if you are interested in anything...
