FOUND: W520 with i7 2820QM or 2760QM and a good FHD display - to Toronto

[FOUND: Received a W520 this week from forum member jedisurfer1 that met my needs exactly. See feedback.]

I'm looking for a W520 in reasonable shape with a close-to-top end processor: an i7 2820QM or 2760QM or better. And with a proper, FHD display in good condition.

Ideally, I'd also like a fingerprint reader. Everything else is flexible. I don't need a hard drive, but I would like some memory.

The machine doesn't have to be in pristine condition. I'll be abusing it daily, and carrying it in a pack regularly, so it'll get scuffed up soon if it isn't already. And I can replace parts as they break or wear out. But as I say in the subject line: the CPU and display quality are what's important to me.

A Toronto-area seller would be ideal for in-person pickup, otherwise shipping to Toronto in Canada. If you ship from the US, I will only accept USPS as a shipper due to exorbitant fees charged by other carriers.

Willing to pay USD$500/CAD$665 plus shipping easily. Willing to negotiate for more based on the machine specs and number of responses I get.

(I know, I know - I am totally going to find it annoying getting used to the 16:9 1080px-high display, which is worse in some ways than those on my 8-year old machines. But I can't wait for the rumoured-retro-mirage to appear, I need to stick with a classic keyboard, and my work now demands a better processor, so...)

I've started to negotiate a sale, and have one or two other offers on hold if that sale doesn't work out. But if you are in Toronto and have a machine that meets my needs, please contact me (everyone else is from out of town or the U.S., and I'd prefer to just drive over and pick the machine up from someone in Toronto).

Found what I wanted and it is on it's way.

Will close the thread once I receive it.

Thanks everyone for your offers.
