This one is sold but as I have a few others (not the same specs) plus some other parts and anyway anyone would want or not this or that part, they can be used as a base for upgrades.

So if anyone is interested, PM me and I will tell you what do I have currently and shipping rates to your location. Let's say that the price for bare system with XGA LCD, some Celeron CPU which was initially on it and no RAM, no HDD and no battery or adapter is about 120-140 USD depending on other things like heatsink, keyboard, wifi card, etc. And shipping is not that much for a 3kg. package.

This is one of the two machines which I have for sale: 8942-CTO - middleton's 1.24 BIOS for R61 standart screen machines (SATA 3.0gb/s, etc. but does not support Penryn CPUs - by request I can load it with 2.24 for widescreen machines which support them); XGA LCD, Intel 965GM chipset (integrated graphics), 4GB RAM, CD-RW DVD-ROM, some Celeron CPU and Atheros WiFi which were initially on the bottom part when I bought it (I don't have any CPUs for sale but I should have some Intel 5100/5300 WiFi cards). Also it has R60 ATI heatsink - FRU 41W5269; and "ThinkPad R-series" logos on the lid and the palmrest as well as "Lenovo R61" clear plate without bluetooth icon (no bluetooth card); no HDD (I have some 80GB but I doubt that someone will need it and no other HDDs left).At the moment I have one 7.8AH battery left and 65W and 90W adapters. And a few keyboards - US English NMB FRU 39T0958, UK English NMB FRU 39T0982, German NMB FRU 42T3152, Finnish/Swedish NMB FRU 42T3164 and Danish ALPS FRU 42T325 - all of them really well preserved. The machines is also in very good condition with minor signs of use on the lid. Also has Windows Vista Business COA.

If you don't need anything, I can remove it.

Air shipping for a package between 2 and 3 kg (without the battery as it weigts around 500g.) is around 50 ±5 USD for North ans South America and for Europe is cheaper - something like 35-40 USD. It should take one week for delivery.

Very rare and fine-looking machines. I wonder if they would take a T60 15" IPS SXGA+/UXGA LCD, making them a potentially nice Frankenpad with far less hassle.

They do, I just modded one with an UXGA IPS LED-screen (BoeHydis HV150UX2-100)

Still available and now I have T8300 CPUs for them if someone is interested.

Forgot to mention - I have also Segate SSHD 1TB ST1000LM014 if someone need a HDD.

Both of the machines are cosmetically in really good condition; completely assembled including RAM covers, original screws and screw caps and interchangeable parts from R60/R60e; both of them have R61 clear plates; one of them has ThinkPad R-series logos and the other one has IBM ThinkPad logos.

Recently I found a cheaper ground shipping service for Europe only - the delivery should be from 15 to 25 USD and delivery time of 3 working days.
