T450s Stuck with Linux

I'm trying to sell my T450s, there's pretty much nothing wrong with it other than the fact that the brightness in windows is stuck at 100%. Here's the story, I made screwed up and cracked the original screen, and took it to an authorized Lenovo Repair Depot to get it fixed, now the display that they installed (an AUO 1080p IPS) works with the laptop, but in windows there is no brightness control. They refused to refund my money or anything because they claimed the display turned on, and therefore it was a software issue and it's my problem. Pretty frustrating, but I managed to deal with it the last couple months by using Ubuntu, under which the brightness control works perfectly fine. If anyone want's more detail on the issue I'll throw in a link at the bottom with more about it, something to do with Lenovo's stupid whitelist.
Ubuntu was fine for me, but I've recently really been needing a Windows machine so I'm trying to get rid of this thing, Windows works fine, but with full brightness all the time, the battery life goes to [censored], and so do my eyes lol. Here are the specs
i5-5200u
4gb ram
500gb hard drive (and 16gb cache ssd)
1080p IPS display
I'm looking for $700 CAD but I'll consider reasonable offers. I'm in Toronto, Canada but I'm willing to ship (at your expense).
