I bought them and was planning to do a dual msata to 2.5 inch RAID but decided to go a different route.
They are basically new, open and powered on a few times with less than 1gb data written to them. They will work with pretty much any w520, t420, t520, x220, w530, t430, x230 etc. Or use them in an msata to 2.5 inch adapter for any laptop. Note they don't fit in the newer 40 or 50 series thinkpads as those use mpcie.

Added an older t400 with switchable ATI graphics and Intel. 4gb ram, good battery, charger. It's been sitting at my parent's place, I'll post up some picks after I visit them on the 24th and pick it up. $100 shipped.
