As the subject says. Meant to go in my T601 Frankie. Let me know if you have some extras kicking around. I'm in Canada but do have a US mailbox as well.

Why are Patriot & G Skill ram cost more? Are they more reliable and have lifetime warranty?

G.Skill is "only" a RAM-assembler, however they supposedly only use top-of-the-line RAM-chips and test themselves also.
Don't know about Patriot, but they may do similar.
That would explain a higher price.
For me, the likes of Samsung, Hynix, Elpida, Axiom are more than good enough.

I must apologize, I was looking at 2x2GB, hence the low price I found and quoted.
Your $65 for a 4GB pair is not only more than fair, it's excellent!
Morten, if you see this, grab it while you can!

I agree that's a great price and since Morten didn't respond I messaged him with my desire to purchase them if still available. He agreed, but then changed his mind and wanted to sell them so someone else.
Very disappointed as I would have loved to have them.

Its really strange that 2 x 4 GB DDR2 memory for a laptop typically seems to cost about $100 whereas the same configuration for a desktop is only about $15.

You're talking about expensive laptop-SODIMMs vs cheap desktop-DIMMs.
Older DDR2 laptop modules were produced in tens of thousands.
Newer DDR3 laptop modules are produced in hundreds of thousands and probably a few millions.
Desktop modules (old and new) were/are produced in the millions.
