*SOLD* FS: X31 1.7GHz 1GB 80GB B/G X3+COMBO *SOLD*

***The auction was changed to just the X31, Ultrabase + Combo Drive so I edited my post here to reflect that. The price was also lowered to $1399 which is a firm price, but if a forum member buys outside of eBay I will give free shipping***

Hi There!

I'm a new member but a long-time watcher. I registered today to make you all aware of my sale on eBay. Though I love my X31 I need to sell it to pay for some other "toys". Please take a look:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 6777384903

It is a 1.7GHz / 1GB / 80GB / 802.11b/g wireless (Intel), and includes an X3 expansion base with a CDRW/DVD drive for the X3. I will also supply copies of the 5 Restore CD's. I have the original boxes and stuff for the X31 & X3. As it says in the auction I already did a fresh restore using the CD's, then I used the IBM Updater to update everything, then Windows Update to update the OS fully. Lastly I saved a complete backup using R&R to a separate 15GB partition I made for the drive. Oh, I stuck dozens of software titles in a folder for the buyer to install if they'd like too. It's ready to use. I also have lots of other goodies for this X31 that are available for sale should the buyer be interested.

I am open to a sale off eBay to a forum member. Feel free to contact me via PM here (or e-mail there) if you have a question or would care to purchase. There are no pictures right now as I had to put this up for sale quickly, but I will try to take some soon if that is necessary, and I will post here when they are available. They won't really show anything as there are no defects to show you!

Thanks for looking.

A forum member asked this morning if I would sell this laptop by itself or with just some of the accessories (he wanted to choose). YES, though a good offer for everything would preside I will allow the laptop buyer to pick & choose from the extras. I will do that for a forum member only as it would be too hard to do that using eBay. Please PM me with your offers before I sell the whole thing over at that other place. Tell me what you want and what you are willing to pay.

Thank You

Hmmmm....I notice your ebay buyer has only four feedbacks, all negative. Interestingly, the guy "bought" four latops within 30 minutes.

' might want to hold onto your PC 'til you get a legitimate buyer....

You noticed that too? I had to relist it [ http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 6777384903 ] These Nigerian Scammers are just ruining eBay. I can't believe with all the money and technology they have that eBay has turned into "the garbge dump of the world". Only problen is... there isn't anywherte else to trade! I have all this really nice stuff to get rid of at fair prices and no where to sell it. No, I didn't say GIVE it (away), I said SELL it (at a fair price). Big difference!
