It is one of the last models to have a serial port, USB port, and stereo line input. Also runs well on Windows XP which is needed for some of the software I use. I suppose an A31 would work as well.

If you can live with 1GB RAM, I have a bunch of T23 machines, which all meet your requirements.

the only software i know about that wants a T30 is the mercedes star diag that runs on a winXT virtual machine..

which now runs on most any laptop and uses either an ethernet cable or wifi to talk to the multiplexer that plugs into the car..
