WTB A31p

Looking for an A31(p) to add to the collection. Imperfect condition and incomplete units (e.g. no optical drive, hard drive, a/c adapter or memory) are acceptable as I'm not looking to spend a fortune on a pristine unit and I've got some spare parts (hoping to keep it between $50 and $75, depending on what offers come in)... but if anyone has one that needs a facelift or a new good home, let me know!

just by chance I stumbled over this A31, in Vienna, Austria, Europe:

Maybe that is what you might be searching.

A31's show up all the time on the Czech auction site but they often have some sort of problem.
There's currently one for $33 from a guy I've bought two machines from:

says 'I don't know the bios password and red lines sometimes appear on the screen. Missing the adapter'
Here's a second one for $100 without an adapter:

All well and good if you're in Europe. OP is in USA and the shipping cost are probably more than the actual system cost (or what he's willing to spend).

True enough; shipping anything that size from EU to US would probably cost at least half what I budgeted for the machine... But thanks to both of you for thinking of my request and doing a little searching for me. The local auction sites haven't proven very helpful - at least, not for the "p" variety.
As far as my search goes, I'm very close to sealing a deal with an offer from a member here. I'll update/close the thread once the deal has been finalized. Thanks everyone!

$40 for shipping and $27 for the machine.

Many thanks everyone!
