WTB: CMOS Batteries for T30 and T61

#1 Post by robert213 » Wed Jan 27, 2016 10:22 pm

I am searching for IBM/Lenovo CMOS Batteries for my T30 and T61.

If understand this correctly, both machines require FRU 02K6572.

I understand that CMOS batteries aren't commonly sold on this board.

Would someone know of a reliable source for IBM/Lenovo CMOS batteries (e.g. eBay, Amazon, etc.)?

The battery inside should be a CR2032.

You can get like a 5 pack from ebay for $1 (or anywhere else)

Pretty much the standard battery for all motherboards. Just open the yellow holder.

I've got 2 of these said battery's, FRU 02K6572. And I have a third that more than likely works, however someone partially peeled off the yellow skin thing.

All of these worked fine when last in use, but they have all been sitting in a bin for a few years and have not been installed or used since removal from the laptop.

edit:
pm sent but not read yet I see. Original OEM parts, so get them while they last!
