X230 2325-5A2

Machine info (From Lenovo site)
i5-3320M(3.3GHz), 8GB RAM, 180GB Solid State Drive, 12.5in 1366x768 LCD, Intel HD Graphics, Intel 802.11agn wireless, WWAN, Bluetooth, 1Gb Ethernet, UltraNav, Secure Chip, Camera, 9c Li-Ion, Win7 Pro 64

Edit: I now have the machine in my possession.

Additional details:

- The keyboard is backlit. There is a broken key on the keyboard. It's the \| (Backslash/pipe) key. It appears the white plastic clip that holds it in place has broken. I have both the key and the clip. It's possible that it just needs a new clip, but a 30 second search of eBay turned up a full replacement keyboard for $25 shipped, used.

- Disregard my posts below about condition. The plastics look amazing, as does the screen. The only noticeable wear outside the usual light scuffs on the lid are two spots on the Lenovo logo on the lid where the chrome has worn off.

- Screen is an IPS LCD

- 9 cell battery is in green, holding 81.9% capacity (76.41/93.24Wh)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
$265 shipped within the US. Payment via PayPal, sent as gift, or buyer pays fees.

I'm currently discussing a sale with mpcook (See his reply below) so he has first chance at it. I simply wanted to add the pertinent info here in the event he decides against it.

Hello. New to this site. I'd be interested of its not the tablet version and if it has an IPS screen.

It appears the keyboard and plastics are pretty beat up, so I don't feel comfortable offering it here.

I have one of these (i5, 16 GB, 500 GB hard drive) as my daily driver running Windows 10. It is about 3 years old. The keyboard is easily and inexpensively replaced. If the plastic shell is broken / cracked then that seriously reduces its value.

That's a good point. I may take a second look at it and maybe take it for a test drive for a few days.

Npiper - if I end up doing that. I'll send you a message. Or you can message me with your email address if that's easier

I might be interested in a beat up X230 for a good price. As long as everything is operational, can easily replace keyboard if needed and I am not concerned about cracks in case as long as it still hangs together. Let me know what you think.
