SOLD: X31
SOLD: X31
I would like to sell my classical Thinkpad X31 laptop. The charger is missing, but everything was working last time when I checked last year. Lubuntu OS was installed on the disk and Windows XP sticker is still on the back. The model type is 2885-PWU with specs shown here: http://www.pcworld.com/product/1332540/ ... ebook.html See the next post for more details of the configuration if you find it helpful.

I am selling it as is. Please email me or reply with your offer if interested! PayPal preferred. Give me an offer if you don't like $30+shipping fee to be the deal. Thanks!

Re: FS: X31
Per forum rules, you must list an asking price.
I'm interested in more details though. Are the RAM and hard drive specs the same as the ones listed (256MB/40GB)? Any recollection of how solid the battery was?

Cell phones are my specialty. Got questions? Ask away.
Re: FS: X31
@NorrisCell I don't have a good sense of pricing. If you pay the shipping fee, I would like to ask for $30 (USD) for this machine at the lowest end. Of course negotiable, if you have a solid reason to change it. I can also trade in with Workstation docks (40A for T450/W541 or similar) or other Thinkpad accessories if you want.
Thank you for your reminding me. Regarding the specs, it is better than you thought. It has 1GB + 256MB RAM sticks. See the picture at https://www.flickr.com/photos/52606482@ ... ed-public/
The HDD has a space less than 100GB for sure, but I don't remember if I have upgraded the HDD after purchasing from IBM. Most likely it is still the original one on the spec page. The battery should still hold charge. In my memory, the battery can last around or less than 1h from last year. I didn't touch it since the charger had been lost during my moving from one place to my current one. If I can find a compatible charger within a week, I will try to turn it on and report back. Overall, this guy is a solid computer -- it never has a problem at my hands and can stop bullets for you.

Still available. But didn't find the proper charger to test so far. Sell as it is.

Re: FS: X31
If nobody else takes it, I would go for $25.
Give your T43/T43p/R52/X41 the SATA it deserves! http://mikejmoffitt.com/sata
