While doing a previous M.2 SSD upgrade I noted that the battery seems easy enough to remove and replace provided a source for a battery can be found. As mentioned the M.2 (42mm) SSD is upgradeable to a 128Gb variant (e.g., mydigitalssd on Amazon sells 128gb M.2 42mm SSD for ~$50). Lid cover has been on since initial purchase so the lid is in very good shape. Screen is fine with zero cracks or scratches. The screen bezel has normal wear from everyday use. Keyboard works fine. SD card reader works. I will reset it to default configuration before sale transaction. For people who like to dabble with OS you can install Ubuntu 14.04 alongside ChromeOS via Crouton. This allows you to switch between ChromeOS and Ubuntu on-the-fly. For more information on Crouton you can enter the keywords 'C720 Crouton' into search engine to research more about it.
Disclosure: one screw is missing from the bottom casing. I will look for it today and if found I will edit this post.
If interested my asking price is $90 plus $14.50 for shipping CONUS via USPS Priority Mail. Handling time will be same day or next business day. Paypal preferred. TIA.
