A pretty rare item that I held onto for a long time, but really can't see myself putting it to use ever again. While it was originally meant to be used in R50p machines which were the only ones to officially offer QXGA screens as an option, it will work in 15" T4x systems nevertheless.

It will not work on any other ThinkPads that I'm aware of.

Isn't the cable longer than T4x's to achieve thicker screen? And isn't the sleep button not in the same place?

Yes it is. Some light finagling required for a proper fit in the 15" T4x lid.

I really don't recall. I never put any of my older ATi-based systems to sleep anyway.

Having said that...this cable was pulled from a *working* and *well-known-on-this-forum* T43p QXGA unit...so it most certainly WILL work in a 15" T4x system, provided that one owns a proper QXGA LCD to begin with.

Do you think a 14.1" SXGA+ inverter from a T41 will work?

IDK but my question to you is: do you actually have a proper QXGA panel at your disposal?

If not, let's take this academic conversation out of my FS thread and continue it elsewhere since it's highly unfair to other sellers here on TPF.
