Well, it's time I finally fulfilled my wife's request to thin my thinkpad herd. (See also my 14.1" T60 w/mint SXGA+ screen for sale: http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.ph ... 1&p=786456)

Much as I'd love to keep this beauty....Up for sale is a *mint condition* 15" T60 Frankenpad with the following specs:

I use a very similar Intel-based Frankenpad daily and it easily handles scientific computing (and visualization) with Matlab along with the usual office/web tasks.

What is resolution of Sharp display ? Do you have spare working LCD cable for this display in case of cable failure ?

By definition, all UXGA screens have 1600x1200 native resolution. And sure, I can include a spare LCD cable if you'd like, though there isn't a special one needed -- any working cable from any 15" T60 would work. I've also just sent you a detailed reply to your email. Thanks for your interest.

There's a special BIOS mod (named Middleton's BIOS after the user who developed it) that allows these boards to handle this class of Penryn CPUs (among many other benefits, like SATA-2 speeds and removal of wifi whitelists -- that's also how I was able to install the AR9380 card).
