FS: t420s with rare IPS Full HD (1920x1080) Screen Mod

For sale - t420s ThinkPad modded with one of the best Full HD screens available (AUO B140HAN01.1).

Overall good to very good condition.

Upgraded using one of the Full HD mod kits available on these forums for a short time (http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?f=45&t=118070)
Note that these kits are no longer available so there are a very limited number of these machines out there.

- Marks and wear to corner and top of lid
- Small crack on left edge of display lid (See pics - I did not even realize it was there until I had it in good lighting and was taking the pictures to list it)
- Couple of small marks on the surface of the screen - was having trouble finding a genuine new screen, so bought it used. Not noticeable unless screen off and lighting is just right.

"Rare" is relative I suppose, but since most who bought the kits wanted to use the laptop themselves, there haven't been very many laptops with them for sale that I've seen. Thank you for making them available to members here multiple times, it is one of the best mods I've ever done to a laptop.

Precisely, there were multiple people who posted to that thread before it was locked that would still like to have one, and it seems rare if you can't get your hands on it.

Especially for those of us with the T420 (non -s) kits.

Best of luck with the sale! These are among the last generation of machines issued by Lenovo to be worthy of possession, IMHO.

True. The rarity of those non -s kits definitely make this kit seem as common as dirt.

Thank you, haven't been getting much interest in this here, so might have to post on ebay. That or it might just be a permanent part of my tech family... That wouldn't be all bad, I love the classic keyboard, USB 3.0, and 1080p in a 14" body
