GONE! T4x 15" UXGA IPS complete LCD assembly (imperfect but working screen), $20

My cleanup session has yielded two complete 15" UXGA IPS LCD assemblies for T4x series ThinkPads, complete and working, but with panel imperfections as noted in the listing below. Both of them are "plug & play" in the respect of everything being included - antennae, LCD cable, clear plate, bezel, good hinges. The wear on the lid themselves is about average for their age. If you're looking for a testbed assembly, or something to complete an inexpensive project with, you may want to consider these.
Unit # 1: GONE!
Usual yellowing in the bottom RH corner and a couple of pressure marks. Sufficiently (IMO) bright with no red tint on the cold boot.
Unit # 2: SOLD!
Very bright and looks clean at a first glance BUT has a number of tiny dark spots (dead pixels? dust specs? no clue) splattered over the lower half of the panel. No red tint on cold boot. Additionally, the left LCD latch is broken off but the RH one holds the lid in its place just fine.
Asking $20 firm + shipping at cost to most locations worldwide.
Please ask *all and any* questions in advance, and understand that both of these are IMPERFECT hence the bottom-of-the-barrel pricing. Thank you.
PM or email me directly to tataslonATaol.com with any questions/concerns.

How many black dots are in the second one? I think it is time for me to put Flexview on my T43

I haven't counted them, but quite a few. All of them are pixel-sized. Please don't ask me to count them...

What is the model printed on the clear plate?

The assembly was pulled out of a T43p. I have several clear plates available, but I'm reasonably certain that I don't have a T43p clear plate with BT. You should be able to transfer your clear plate - not that I'm not going to include one anyway - within 10 seconds if that's an issue...

My T43 machines don't have Bluetooth daughter card even though they have Bluetooth antenna. I only have one T41p Bluetooth card and it won't work on T43 and there is no bios mods for unauthorised daughter cards. How about the hinges? My 15" T43 has loose hinges which also kinda annoys me and makes the computer feel cheap instead of steady. And also what is the condition of the lid and the texture on the lid? If those things are fine, I will get the one with dots inside the display because I hate the yellowed white which also takes place on aged Galaxy phones because for AMOLED screens blue degrades faster.

I'm pretty sure that I have the proper BT card somewhere..

Hinges are in very good shape.

Average. There's noticeable wear on it, not surprisingly for a decade-year-old item.

If you have spares for T43 BT daughter card, can you sell 2 of them to me for some extra money? I guess I will be the first one to test them in Windows 10. At least there is no hardware button on the inverter this time unlike A3x.
Also how much do you think I can sell a factory T41p SXGA+ complete lid assembly with Wifi and Bluetooth antennas, same LCD condition but 8.5+/10 condition for the lid? On eBay your assembly would be at around $100.

If I can find the card(s), no problem...

No idea.
We can take this to PM should you decide to grab the second assembly, it's unfair to other sellers for this thread to be bumped as much as it has been so far...

Btw you really should post this before I set my purchase on SXGA+ IPS display for my A30 you know. I feel like it is a big pity to let this deal go away as they sell these things for $100 on eBay and there is absolutely NO ONE ELSE selling this on this forum, so now I guess I will have to build another 15" T43 unit to utilise my non IPS UXGA display then. Or do you know if there is any way for me to use the UXGA display and a controller to turn it into a monitor or something?

Assembly # 2 has been sold to a forum member, # 1 is still up for grabs.
