EDIT - This is now sold

I'm starting to clear out some unused ThinkPads from my shelves. First up this fall is a very nice upgraded X200s, originally type 7469-5GU, SN LV-ZT1HG. It has 4 GB of RAM (upgraded from 2 GB), a Core2 Duo L9400 chip, Intel Centrino N-6200 AGN wireless card (an upgrade from the original 5100 card), fingerprint reader, a Lenovo 6-cell replacement battery that is probably getting old, but still charges. I've installed a Kingston 120GB SSD in place of the original HDD. I've installed Windows 10 Pro (64-bit) and it will boot up to the screen that asks you to connect to a network so that you can finish the installation. Original Lenovo power supply included.

Remember, this is an X200s (lighter-weight than the X200 and with a higher-resolution screen than the X200).

The wireless card is an upgrade that I installed; I also installed the BIOS mod that permits non-whitelisted cards.

All the phone-home anti-theft options are permanently disabled in the BIOS. No Computrace here!

As you can see, the condition is really very good. The lid has some light scuffing; the worst fault is some almost unnoticeable narrow scrapes at the lower left of the Lenovo logo, visible on the photo.

I've blurred the network names on the photo of the screen it boots to.

I bought this machine with the idea that I would upgrade it to an X201s using the motherboard and media card that I'm offering in another thread on the forum, but I decided that I already had all the X201s machines that I need.

Continental (lower-48) US only: $100, shipped UPS ground.

Please feel free to check my feedback in the "positive feedback" thread in this forum.

As the revised heading says, this is now sold. I'll have two or three more machines of X200/201 vintage coming up in the next few weeks.
