New country, new parts collection. There are a couple of things I need that I can't (or rather wouldn't) buy on eBay:

1. Original T60, T61 etc. HDD caddy with rails and screws. I stress the original part. This is probably one of the most abundant ThinkPad parts, so I'm not willing to pay much. It's just that eBay is littered with fakes.

2. T61 Chicony keyboard with German layout. It's unlikely that anyone will have that, but I might as well ask. Wiling to pay up to 40$ for new/close to new condition. (sadly, the Chiconys wear out easily, so I'm fine with a tiny bit of shine on keys like the space bar or enter key)

3. Some classic soft dome Trackpoint caps, preferably old stock from the T60 to T500 era. The new ones don't last. Also, I can't be sure I'm getting originals on eBay. Might take some classic domes (cat tongue style ones to be clear) too while I'm at it.

4. T60 4:3 motherboard with Intel graphics. Has to be in excellent, fully functional and tested condition. I need this one to be 100% reliable. Would be great if it came directly from a hardly used T60 parts-donor with the latest non-Whitelist BIOS installed.

5. R61 clear plate with bluetooth icon. Has to be new obviously. As far as I know this should fit on both 4:3 and widescreen R61 bezels.

6. T410 keyboard with German layout. Maybe someone has one. Condition should be good, but doesn't have to be new or anything.

7. T410 WXGA+ display. Should be used, but in good condition with no major blemishes.

As for trade ins, I can offer a practically new SHARP UXGA if anyone is interested. I can imagine trading it directly for 7. Otherwise, I can offer PayPal.

Some time ago I bought a couple of 14" (the 4:3 model) T61's from Germany; intending to use their motherboards as donors for FrankenPad's. The T61's that I received seems to have spent their lives in docking-stations, since they looked brand-new inside. One of these T61's (one which I have already cannibalized, as a FrankenPad-donor) came with a new (!) Chicony-keyboard, German, having P/N 42T3250 and FRU 42T3282 (see Keyboard service part numbers - ThinkPad T61 and T61p (15.4" widescreen) for PN and FRU confirmation).

The keyboard was shipped from Copenhagen on Oct. 14 (using regular mail), but was first received by 600X in NC on Nov. 02!! The slow shipping/delivery delay was most likely caused by the USPS, owing to their customs-inspection.

I've found everything except for 5. and 6. so far. I also added 7.

It's down to only the German T410 keyboard now.

Also, the caddy deal didn't work out, so I'm still looking for at least 1, preferably 2 original HDD caddys from the T60-T410 era.
