FS: T43 (SATA) and various displays (UXGA) *REDUCED*

I have a T43 with SATA mod to sell. It's the machine from here, so I won't bother to list specs: http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=120015
What I will say is that it was causing all sorts of troubles. Thanks to George I was able to fix most of them and from what I can tell, everything seems to be working now. However, I can't guarantee it. You shouldn't expect anyone to guarantee anything for a 11 year old machine anyway. It received a different lid including an UXGA display. While it works fine, the lid and display aren't in the best condition anymore, so expect some spots and scratches. Apart from that, it is in a good shape. I added a 80GB HDD. Price is 125$ + shipping.

I also have a basically brand new SHARP UXGA which 'fits' 15" 4:3 machines. It only ran a few minutes, so it's flawless. Price is 50$ + shipping.

Furthermore, I have an IDTech UXGA (FlexView) display which used to be in my R61. It is still bright, but has several marks which are most noticeable on a white background. Nevertheless, I'd still rate it as being in pretty good shape. Price is 25$ + shipping.

Lastly, I have a T410 WXGA display (LG) with 3 or so small marks towards the bottom. Price is 20$ + shipping.

Pictures are available upon request. I prefer selling the displays in one batch because I have a limited amount of boxes available to me.

UPDATE: The items NEED to go. I don't have space. The T43 can be had for 100$ + shipping. All 3 displays can be had for 50$ + shipping.

Which of the UXGA displays would fit A3x lids without any extension cables (I have a 15" LCD from T43 but ended up with insufficient cable length and I am getting some of the extenders they make in China but it takes another month or something to arrive)

The SHARP is from a Dell and the FlexView display is from a T43, so neither will fit the A30 series.

If the T43 LCD-cable is not long enough for in the A30, then the Sharp screen might fit!
Its cable-connector sits 16mm lower than on the "standard" 15" screen.

From what I know now is that a T41 Samsung 14.1" SXGA+ fits in A30 but disconnects when you close the lid. It's very hard to get a Flexview display designed for A3x series that is not yellowed or pinked. I don't actually know how low the CONNECTOR has to sit on because it came with 14.1" 20pin XGA display

AFAIK the 14.1" A30 LCDs have 20-pin and the 15" (UXGA) has 30-pin, same as A31/p.
Obviously you'd also need a 15" bezel instead of the old 14.1".

And the LCD always gets disconnected/switched off when you close the lid, duh...

Sorry this gets out of the topic though. Well my scenario is I got a 14.1" A30 and bought 15" bezel and SXGA+ cable+ips lcd, but the T43 ips LCD won't connect at all unless you get a 30pin extender. So I used a 14.1" T41 Samsung SXGA+ instead but the cable is still not long enough for the lid to close. I am waiting for the extender to come and put the ips in because that Samsung SXGA+ was my first attempt to repair the pink backlight and I ended up with dirt, fingerprint and light bleeding. At least it's better (condition) than its original XGA as the original one was significantly yellowed and has more and more horizontal lines going thru. Then it took me quite some time to get the driver working for SXGA+ resolution under Windows 7.

Like I said, I don't know which ones may work in the A30. All I know is that both UXGA screens I have work in the T43-T60.

For the sharp screen what is the model (it is UXGA IPS-equivalent right)? Does it need to fold T4x cable to work? If yes then it works fine in A30 without an extension cable

It's a LQ150U1LW22, which is an ASV display, not IPS. It needs the cable fold, but I can't guarantee that it works in the A30.

Compare the pinouts on the datasheets of both screens.

Isn't that:

But then the problem is the shipping cost is going to be a pain...
